? We had an absolutely wonderful experience bringing our chickens in for wellness checks. (On the South Shore, especially) It is hard to find vets who will see birds - and even HARDER to find vets who will see chickens because of the bird flu pandemic. After having bad experiences with other local clinics where we were disrespected and treated as "less than" standard dog and cat patients, we were searching for a new vet and Firehouse popped up on Google Maps. Although it was a 45-minute drive from Scituate, it was SO worth it. From the initial scheduling phone call to the appointment itself, we were welcomed and felt respected by all staff.
