No call, no showed me for an oil tank install quote. Was given a time frame by the receptionist, left work early to be there and not even a call to say they're running late or cancel the appointment. When I reached out, I got in touch with their answering service who confirmed the scheduled appointment and said they would be out.

Be carful when calling them. they are out to get people money, I call them with emergency services they came and gave a price way high and when I canceled the job the charged $99 for coming + the tech fees. If you call them you can forget about at least $160 without the jobService: Heating system repair

Literally just got yelled at by whoever answers the phones when you call this company, because I am unhappy that a tech who was supposed to be here between 10-12 will now be here at 4 pm (hopefully?) She threatened to cancel our work order through American Home Shield and said that we would receive a text when the tech is 30 min out "which is more than enough time to do whatever we need to do so that it doesn't disrupt our day." I imagine hers is not a very fulfilling job, but the degree to which she snapped on a customer for expressing a legitimate grievance was EXTREME. Based on our experience with American Home Shield thus far, it tracks that they have contracted with a hack company to save money. If you are not being forced to work with Dempsey Oil by American Home Shield, avoid them at all costs. And if it's not too late for you, avoid American Home Shield as well!!
