“Bruce Stivaletta of Stivaletta Corp. solved two tricky construction problems I had. First a home basement was flooding during a major storm and nobody else was interested in helping. Bruce immediately came over and installed a sump pump under extremely difficult conditions. The second problem. Bruce replaced a drainage pipe under a driveway after the first company punctured the two-house gas line. After the line was repaired Bruce was able to carefully replace the drainage pipe without incident. I wholeheartedly recommend he bid your project large or small. His prices are fair, and his work is superb. I plan to ask him to bid the next house.“

“I have two homes with pumps that are serviced yearly by Basement Technologies. This review is for the serivice done in March and the service done in April. Archie has been doing this yearly maintenance service for me since I can remember. I request him every year. He Is professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about his work. He is worth his weight in gold! In March the service went well so we are set until the next time. In April, the home on Cape Cod which has a very high water table especially with all the rain we’ve been getting, had some water that seeped up through cracks in the floor. Archie immediately put on his troubleshooting hat and made some adjustments to the pump's controls and the well. He did not rush and took his time to make sure all was flowing and working efficiently. Hopefully, that will resolve the water seeping in from the cracks. “Modern Yankee Builders did a multi-room remodeling for us. They were involved from the conceptual phase (the beginning), through planning, all the way to the end. It was a great experience from beginning to end, everything was fantastic from the design ideas to the professionalism and punctuality, and of course the work itself was beautiful. (And Joe is a great guy, important if he's going to be around your house for a while). A few years later now (2017-first project was 2013), we've had Joe back to do a massive remodeling project for us, we demoed an entire floor of my house, studs, floor, and exterior wall included. We rebuilt a family room and master bed/bath in the space. As always with Modern Yankee, every detail is beautiful and all timing issues and unexpected problems were taken care of. There are so many remodeling horror stories out there that they're almost the norm; with Modern Yankee everything stays on schedule and ends up looking even better than imagined. And as before, Joe is a pleasure to work with, always important for someone that's going to be around for an extended period of time.
