“I first got a quote from Vaillancourt Roofing for about $34,500 when my sister told me that we should look at Queen City Roofing. As I researched them, their reputation was stellar. We went with them, and the final cost was $19,500. Both quotes had a 50-year warranty, and the only differences were that Vaillancourt put a 4’ higher layer of the neoprene (I think) barrier, and they used Owens Corning shingles. Even though I do not know the names of name-brand shingles, I am 100% sure that Queen City Roofing also used an excellent brand, if for no other reason than they do not want to come back to do repairs. Anyway, those two little differences were not worth $15,000!! I also recommend using their recommended finance company as they were much easier to get what amounts to a high-dollar personal loan, than through my bank, for only 1% higher interest rate. Anyway, when they finally did the job, I was worried about how many nails would be left on the ground. Well, they did an incredible cleanup job. Based on the quotes I mentioned, you can imagine we have a very large roof, and so far, I have found 6 nails. They had 12 guys working that day, and did the whole roof in one day. They started at 7 a.m., and were done by 4:30! I cannot recommend them enough.“

“We selected Solid State from 5 companies, and we are very happy with the result (James Hardie siding). Sales person (Adam) was great, he explained what exactly should be done in our case, and his explanations were the most reasonable. Unlike others he did not inflate the price so that he would be able to lower it later, and his price was very reasonable. He explained that we will not pay in advance for unexpected problems like rotten wood because he does not expect substantial problems and he does not want to charge us many thousands in advance for something we most likely will not need (and he appeared right, these extra charges were reasonable and minimal). The guys that did the job were great. They paid attention to everything, they knew what they were doing, and the quality was excellent. They implemented all our reasonable requests and very politely explained why a few requests were not reasonable (they were right!). The workplace was clean at the end of each day. The result was even better than we expected.

“I hired Dube to build a mudroom and a portico over my front entry. I am extremely happy with the result. There were some weather and ground conditions at the beginning of the project which caused some unexpected challenges. Dube worked diligently in partnership with my structural engineering firm to resolve the issues as budget friendly as possible. The workmanship is of excellent quality and the workman were well-mannered and professional. Clean-up at the end of every day was amazing. They left it better than they found it. Communication was impeccable. I loved the Job Tread App where tasks, dates and times were posted. There was a daily log which summarized what was done for the day. There was a place I could post comments or ask questions. I would be remiss if I did not mention there was an issue with some push back but it was eventually resolved to my satisfaction. Dube General Contracting is a business which conducts itself with integrity and honesty coupled with quality craftsmanship. I would not hesitate to hire them for another project“

“We hired Frank and his team to replace our windows (complicated new construction windows requiring removal of exterior siding and interior trim). The guys did a great job. They worked quickly and were very conscientious about covering the floors inside of our home so it wouldn't get dirty. They cleaned up and removed the covering every day when they left,.. then repeated the covering the next day. We really appreciate how thoughtful they were about minimizing the mess and impact on us. They didn't skimp on materials, adding sufficient insulation and beautiful new trim/molding. We could immediately tell the difference in their workmanship as there are no drafts at all now. The guys even cleaned the glass (inside and out) on every window before leaving. Beyond their workmanship, they're a really great group of guys. We truly enjoyed working with them and recommend them without hesitation.“
