The greatest Barber around. I have been a loyal customer for over 25 years. Mel has been cutting my hair for a long time, even back to when I had a full head of hair. He has always been a great story teller of Pepperell history and his own life journey. He always told me he was a volunteer firefighter and if he got a call he would have to leave, told him I'd drive him so he could finish cutting my hair. Now as the years go by and Mels carries on with his son at the shop I still get my hair cut here at the Greatest Barber around!

I am, admittedly, extremely picky with my hair. I was asked not to come back from another barber shop in town and I'm super OCD about it being tight and uniform and hairs not being uneven in length. After shaving my head myself for the better part of a decade and finally getting sick of doing it (and sick of paying for absurdly overpriced razor blades) I reluctantly gave this place a shot simply because it is local and convenient for me. I'm really glad I did. Mel is a great guy and he has given me about half a dozen hair cuts now, all of which are clean, uniform and tight. I'm also in and out in 20 minutes, which is incredible. I continue to go here every two weeks or so and I definitely recommend it. Excellent barber.

Olde style barber shop. A decent haircut for a decent price. Good conversation. If you need to know what's going on in Pepperell this is the place to go. A few doors down from Breen's Diner.
