We count ourselves extremely lucky that Carly was able to accommodate my partner and I as walk ins.
She treated our “simple” tattoo idea with utmost respect and professionalism and was super easy to talk to. She was super patient and kind and made me feel super at ease. She provided great suggestions for tattoo placement.
The shop is super clean and comfortable and they have lots of rad art and oddities on display!
One of the shop owners (Leanne) greeted us and was super warm and welcoming, checking in on us during our tattoo and offered snacks and water which was much appreciated.

“Being my first time ever visiting Salem, I was In love with the culture and scenery of the town. I wasn't the biggest fan of the touristy shops I visited though. This was our last stop on our little day trip and I was blown away by the decor and beauty of the art being sold! T shirts, prints, and post cards (to name some products) all of which was original art from what I gathered and it was top notch, and priced respectably. The staff were the nicest I've met, really. The whole place made my day, and I will have their art on my wall! If lived in Salem I'm sure It would be a monthly treat to stop by the Black Veil. If you are planing to shop in Salem, I'd tell you this is the place you NEED to go first“

“So I went to see Carrisa for my first tattoo on Friday the 19th and wow was I impressed with her artwork. And I went back today on the 22nd for my second tattoo and just like my first time, Carrisa didn’t disappoint. She is absolutely amazing at what she does and as you can see I got the scorpion done on Friday and the dragon done today and I am literally in love with these tattoos. “I am very fortunate to be a cosmetic tattoo client of Juli Moon. She originally provided me with eyebrow tattoos in 2010 and did the first touch-up in 2015. I recently went back for a second touch-up, and my experience was just as wonderful as the first two appointments.
Juli is patient, knowledgeable, friendly, and a fantastic conversationalist. With all her years' experience, I fully trust her input and judgment, but she is always willing to listen to her clients as well since we wear the art.
Her location has its own parking lot, which is shared for all the businesses in the building. The studio itself is on the second floor, and each artist has their own space. It's such a creative atmosphere that exudes confidence and is welcoming to all. I always look forward to coming to see Juli.
