Pam is an excellent trainer, and I would highly recommend her. We adopted a rescue from Texas who understandably was timid and tentative around people. As first-time dog owners, Pam’s help was invaluable in training our dog in all the basic skills – signaling to pee and poop, loose leash walking, "dropping" and not eating acorns, and the list goes on! She helped teach us the steps to leave our dog (who has separation anxiety) home alone for longer and longer periods of time. She's a wealth of knowledge and has been a wonderful resource in helping us understand the milestones in our girl's growth.
Pam was the third trainer I hired to work with my reactive dog Ralph. I didn’t have much hope since he wasn’t making any progress with the last two trainers we worked with. Pam was so patient with me, Ralph and also my two young children. She made it a family effort to help Ralph and my kids loved being involved. When we first met with Pam my dog couldn’t even see another dog while going for a walk or he would go crazy. Lunging, barking and pulling making it very hard for me to control him. I highly recommend Pam with Down For Paws! she was able to help my overactive pup achieve success in the simple tasks that were asked of her. I am so grateful to Pam for helping me through the puppy phase and now I have a well behaved 1 year old golden retriever who l can now enjoy.
