“This is really a 4.5-star review but since I gave 4 stars for the previous job I think it makes sense to round up to 5 this time. I hired Franca this fall to paint the exterior of my house, and remove a significant amount of rotted trim and replace it with PVC. I was very pleasantly surprised by how quickly they were able to get me on their schedule, and they wrapped up the whole project in a little over a week. They were conscientious about removing rotted trim (including from areas I couldn't see well from the ground and so didn't point out to them), the house looks great, and the price was very competitive. Steve, who set up the contract, was very responsive throughout; the crew were professional, careful about cleanup, and showed up on time. The only flaws were (1) initially they replaced some of the trim with softwood instead of PVC, but when I noticed it and asked them to fix it, and contacted Steve to confirm, they did fix it (and didn't charge me for the fix), (2) they were a bit aggressive about chopping limbs off some of my small trees to get the ladders into place - that said, this may have been unavoidable (the yard is small and quite densely planted).“
