We recently hired Gerfferson to replace our front porch. We wanted to switch to composite decking and railings as our previous porch was wood and was in need of replacement. Gerfferson was recommended to us and he came to meet with us and discuss what we wanted. We quickly learned of his distinguished qualities namely his honesty, professionalism, patience and his commitment to perfection. We wanted to change the appearance of the deck so after discussion with Gerfferson we chose grey flooring with black railings and posts. I wanted to replace my front stairway because the kickboards were rotting and the handrails were loose. At issue was the fact that the original porch and stairs were constructed using mahogany wood. Gefferson took the time to discuss in advance what I wanted, down to the fine details. Then, based on his knowledge and experience, he guided me to a sort of shared vision of what he would build. His price was reasonable. His construction techniques are top-notch. The result is a pleasing, beautiful, sturdy set of steps and rails that closely match the wood of the existing porch.
