Olivia was not just focused on doing my hair and makeup but on distracting me and making me feel at ease. Olivia has a sense of confidence and calmness that will make any of her clients feel reassured. Her team of incredible hair stylists and makeup artists are no different. They all get along with one another and with their clients, no matter the age. On the day of my wedding, Paige, Maggie, and Olivia O. were all outstanding.
My bridal party has still not stopped talking about how impressed they were with their hair and makeup. They felt so special on my day and that made me feel so happy. I have Olivia’s team to thank for that.
My mom’s hair and makeup were impeccable. My mom is naturally gorgeous but I have never seen her look so stunning in my life. I cannot count how many times people saw pictures and asked if we were sisters.
My hair and makeup….wow! I am emotional writing this because as a bride you wish for a fairytale wedding. You dream about yourself and about what your family and friends, and especially future husband, will think of you on the day of the wedding. I have never felt so beautiful and confident in my life than after Olivia did my hair and makeup. I never expected to feel that way about myself, being a harsh critic, and it truly put me to tears when I first looked in the mirror.
Olivia didn’t just do my hair and makeup and then leave, like most artists probably would. She stayed to make me a touch up kit, do last minute touch-ups right before I got dressed, and to talk through putting my veil in with my anxious mom. She didn’t once look at the clock or tell me she was there too long. She stayed and took pictures, complimented me and my bridesmaids, and left only when we all felt ready.
I could go on and on, but Olivia and her team we exceptional and I could not recommend them enough for weddings or any other special event! I will be referring every single person I know to her.“

Its easily one of the best hair cuts I've ever gotten and I really appreciated how much time she took/what a thorough job she did discussing what I wanted done (I have pretty bad anxiety so that part is often hard for me, but I felt really comfortable and we were able to cover everything). I could also tell she was being very mindful of my hair texture the entire time she was cutting it which is often an issue for me when I get my hair cut (I have wavy hair). “Andrew has been an absolute superstar! I'm often looking to completely change my hairstyle and he's met those requests with excitement instead of apprehension. He's also done a great job with both hair transitions he's worked on with me! To be honest I can't afford his haircuts but I keep going to him because he's the only person in the city that I trust with non-standard hairstyles across the gender spectrum.

Edit: My last couple haircuts have been quite disappointing. I tried to convince myself the haircuts were okay. But the lines in my hair were uneven both times and I asked for layers both times and he cut my hair all to the same length both times. Since he didn't give me layers the first time, I asked him to cut my hair short if he needed to for layers the second time around. This time again he cut my hair all to one length, but this time shorter. I would trust him completely with masculine hairstyles but I don't think I'm ever going back for a hairstyle with any femme components. The last couple appointments also felt more rushed and like he didn't have the time or energy to spend on the haircut and just wanted it out of the way, so all in all, I'm probably on the lookout for a new hairstylist.. :(“

As for the haircut, I was skeptical at first when I left the salon and when I got home. But after a few days I came to the realization that Amad did me a great service. I had described that I wanted a haircut I could grow into, while growing my hair out. He executed the cut to perfection. Very much gave me a haircut I enjoy and feel confident in, as well as providing me a cut I can grow into, while staying true to my goal of growing my hair out.

I have tried a different salon recently, but the prices were outrageous! The results were not worth the money. I'm going back to Hair On Point for two reasons. 1.
