He feels every inch for lumps bumps etc. He rotates their legs paws etc checking for limitation or pain. Orders age appropriate labs and is not an alarmist but discusses approaches with you. When it was time for us to say goodbye to our 4 th fur baby he was very supportive, accommodating and kind. I love that my dogs always saw the same vet who knew them well.we will Always be grateful to him and the BEST vet assistant ever Maria“

197 Newbury St Unit B, Danvers“Nelson and crew gave our dog an amazing experience with the board and train with recall. Our puppy is able to relax, respond to commands with ease, and walk safely through our busy city streets on leash. He LOVES his daycare days with the entire HK9 crew! We are so happy we made this decision and strongly recommend any pup parent to consider this training for a truly enjoyable experience.“

160 Winthrop Ave Suite 13, Lawrence“My husband and I started taking our puppy Ozzie to classes at BlueDog when he was 4 months old. As a board certified behavior analyst, I knew I wanted to find a dog trainer that utilized positive reinforcement and this led us to BlueDog. Their trainers are extremely knowledgeable, seem to genuinely take joy in teaching, and have great insights on training, socialization and enrichment. Our puppy is now 9 months old and last week we took him to the South End in Boston to SoWA outdoor market. He didn’t jump or bark our entire outing. We went to an outdoor cafe for lunch and he confidently and happily laid next to us on the patio watching dogs and people go by. Of course he still acts like a puppy and he will continue to need training as he matures. But, BlueDog has provided us with the structure and exercises to help him develop skills to be confident and comfortable in the world.“

171 Tremont St, Melrose“There are no words to truly show how much Dogwood Cottage has meant to us and to our dog, Leo, since we started going in 2021. We had tried a different place before, which made Leo nervous around dogs and humans. When we went to Dogwood, Leo loved playing with the sweet group of dogs that come to daycare- he even has a few girlfriends there now! We love seeing the pictures/videos of him playing with his buddies on the Dogwood Cottage Instagram and seeing how happy he is every time he goes! The love, and attention, and patience that the staff shows Leo continues to be above and beyond— it has helped Leo come out of his shell with humans. I know that a large reason for this staff culture is due to the leadership of Dogwood’s manager, Carl James. Not only is Carl incredibly knowledgable about dogs and their behavior, but I have come to know Carl closely and feel that I can speak to his kindness, dedication, and selflessness. He deeply cares for the dogs that come to Dogwood as well as the satisfaction of their human owners. Carl is responsive, responsible, organized, thoughtful, and I will always completely trust Leo in him and his staff’s care. Carl consistently goes above and beyond. Any place that Carl is, is a place that is lucky to have him and a place that we trust 100%.“

558 Lowell St, Peabody“As a Animal Control Officer who appreciates people who help animals, I wish I could give the Dogmother a 100 star rating!
This daycare has the biggest outdoor space that’s split into different yards along with a trainer dedicated to each group of dogs. All dogs are placed with small groups which I prefer, and always have a attendant at all times. Everything is on video 24/7 and the staff is very well trained to handle dogs and groups of dogs.
This business is very highly recommended by residents, Rescue organizations like Sweet Paws Rescue and many local ACOs , Police, Fire, and local city officials.“

Centre St, Saugus“I am so thrilled I found North Boston Dog Training! Rhonda trained our very high energy Brittany with the two week board and train! I was very hesitant about the training because Navy has allergies and very sensitive skin (can’t use most training collars) but so glad we sent him. Rhonda listened to our concerns and designed the training around what worked for him. Within two weeks, he is so much better on a leash and is already off leash in our backyard. Before training, I’d literally be in tears during our walks but now I’m skipping and smiling. So thankful for Rhonda and North Boston Dog Training. Will be using them again for any future dog!“
