American Skin Care is directly managed by the owner, Amanda, an experienced and highly regarded licensed esthetician who has over two decades of experience. She is centrally located in DT Norfolk, which is a plus. However, I wish she would open a spa in San Diego, where I live! Clients here in California would spill through her doors! Mandy provides individualized, specialized treatment skin care regimens to meet your needs. Her skin care products do not have chemicals, such as what one would buy at a store. She has researched her products thoroughly, a few of which are unique and rare to access. Flexible scheduling; scheduling accommodations are made at your convenience (such as my delayed cross-country flight, so I missed my original appointment)! Of note, there are precautions for COVID and other circulating viruses within her spa. American Skin Care is a top-notch skin care spa encompassing a variety of services to cater to your specific needs.“

“Theresa is a gem. I have used her on multiple occasions for different projects. I am no youngster and she treats me respectfully. I think that my two favorite projects were for -oh you see it is here that I personally know that I am going to foul this up. I have had a stroke and could screw up a free lunch.She did a procedure for moisturizing my cheeks along with one that did something terrific for my chin. She also did some much needed filler. I apologize for the delay in submitting this review. But I think you may be able to guess that my memory has made this difficult. However I am relying on the experience and how important she made me feel.In addition we both have been either blessed or cursed with a sassy sense of humor. I totally loved working with her. While she was the essence of professionalism, deep down she was an extremely quick wit. She always tickled my funny bone.She was passionate about her work and I always left feeling uplifted and “wicked” happy with the results. I will be back to see Theresa when I am able to scrape up some dough so that she can work her magic on n me. “I had a lash lift and tint with Jolene in December and I am so thrilled with the results! I got through the holiday season without ever feeling the need to curl my lashes or use mascara. It’s been over a month and the curl is still there! I had never had my lashes done before but Jolene made me feel very comfortable with the process.Randomly, the day of my appointment there was a tropical storm and the whole street lost power about halfway through my lash lift. Jolene got through the whole thing with makeshift lighting and everyone there was so professional; I felt really secure at the salon despite the chaotic weather outside.“
