I really appreciate a direct and honest eye doctor. After having terrible experiences with other National brands, Dr Zhu was able to get my new prescription right on! No trying to up sell or only show me the most expensive frames not covered by my insurance... He is fast and was able to get me the right frames even after they were discontinued. Thank you! get

Dr. Zhu was fine if you want to check the box for your annual exam with no major concerns. It's nice he has extended hours on weekend. No frills at all in the small office. Sparse basic selection of frames and lenses. I don't think he performed a comprehensive eye exam from what I have received in the past as it lasted about 10 minutes total. Moving onto the "contact lens" portion he had me use my own current lenses wasting a pair for the day since I showed up with glasses. All the times in the past with the fitting I have received a week supply of a trial pair recommended brand. Then made a follow up appointment. He went through the motions and bumped up the prescription. He did not have in stock the brand I had on hand so he told me just to order online to receive the rebate. He did not clearly explain the breakdown of the cost since it resulted in $10 copay for exam (fine on the face of plan details) and an additional $72 for just the written Rx... I felt rushed out of the office for the last appointment of the day so I will not return.

I saw Dr. Zhu for the first time today and had a great experience! The doctor was personable, thorough, and quick, which I really appreciated because my husband was waiting for me in the car with our two sleeping babies. I was taken in right at my appointment time and was out after approximately 20 minutes. Dr. Zhu explained what my insurance would cover and what it wouldn't (contact lens fitting) before we got started so I wouldn't have any surprise charges. The shop is small, but has all of the necessary equipment for exams. I recommend Dr. Zhu and will happily return!
