My orthopedic surgeon recommended acupuncture after I tore some ligaments in my shoulder. I was willing to do anything to feel better but I was very skeptical at first. I do not believe in any of the hippy juju stuff. I was in the military for nearly a decade and I had a variety of issues including PTSD, anxiety, plantar fasciitis, herniated disc, shin splints, IBS, migraines, TMJ, torn labrum and bicep tendon. Friendly, supportive and most importantly, effective treatment for a number of chronic issues. Ilana asks thoughtful questions before each treatment, which maximizes the outcome. She is also assuring when conducting the treatments and answers all of my questions. If you are considering acupuncture, I would recommend a consult with Ilana.
