Ken Meyer is experienced and has good knowledge of violins. He is also honest and unbiased in his business practices. He does nice work on instruments and as we know, he isn't a stickler for schedules. However, when you need a good luthier, he is really good to work with, and he listens to you! Plus he's on the T and there is parking on the street as well.

Ken is a genius with sound. He is a very unique individual who has the ability to analyze any stringed instrument and make it sound better. I recently brought him an old Italian/french composite violin which I purchased nearly 20 years ago. During that time, it has spent most of its playing life as a frustrating platform that required special technique and care to make each note speak and sound the way it should. Some notes would not sound in tune no matter where the left hand was placed. Within about 15 minutes of analysis, ken came up with at least eight different improvements to increase the playability, resonance and sound of the instrument.
