I can’t believe I’m just discovering this salon, what a find! IMHO, The Lake is hands down the best area of Newton and I love what this business brings to the neighborhood. It’s difficult finding organic hair color at a salon without spending a boatload of cash, and I am so thankful to have found it now. Geeta did a great job cutting my long, naturally curly hair and the color came out lovely. The salon has a very calming and tranquil atmosphere, and I had a wonderful conversation with Geeta - she made me feel like we’ve been friends for years after just 2 hours in her chair. Can't say enough good things about Avani and Geeta. I started coming here after I tried using an environmentally friendly home product to color my own hair which didn't have great results. I wanted something better for the environment than the standard hair dyes. I found Avani by googling green salons or something like that. Right from my first visit, I loved this place. Geeta is professional and just a genuinely nice person. I've been a regular customer for a few years now. My hair looks great every time.
Geeta is absolutely lovely. I’ve had a really hard time finding a salon I like here in Newton (including one across the street from this salon that I do not recommend) but was thrilled to find this one! I highly recommend seeing Geeta!
