About Angelo's Barber Shop

Angelo's Barber Shop is a family-owned business that has been serving the Newton Highlands community for decades. Established in 1958 by Angelo Ferrera, the shop is now carried on by his son, Frank Ferrera, who has worked alongside his father for over 30 years. Customers praise Frank as an extremely talented barber who provides high-quality cuts and exceptional service. The shop offers an authentic, old-school barbershop experience with great vintage decor, and Frank is described as a "mensch" - a truly good person who treats people well and is interesting to talk to. Customers from the local area and even those who have moved away continue to visit Angelo's for the classic cuts and friendly atmosphere.

Frank and his customers are friendly, community oriented, and good problem solvers (how to do something or get something done). Have gone there 45 years!! And proud of their work!!

Frank is an extremely talented barber which in this day and age is way too hard to find. He's a truly good person, a "mensch", who treats people well and is also really interesting to speak with. I've been coming here for years, and still come every month despite having moved to the North Shore (Salem). It's easy to get an appointment online. You won't be disappointed!

He didn’t recognize me after all those years, but knew exactly who I was when I mentioned my grandfather. We talked about those old days, and he shared some great stories. It was almost like a scene out of Field of Dreams getting to talk to him. A real gentleman. Glad that his son Frank is carrying...read full review
