We can’t say enough about the skill, knowledge and professionalism of John Field and his team, who safely cut and took out a huge white pine dying next to the house and stone walls this week. Quickly dispensed with, cleaned up and done in a few hours. And great to watch! So impressed. Much respect to you, John, for the business you have built.

John Field Tree Service was amazing! We have about 3 acres and for the past few years we have struggled to find a company that could treat our property with the same care, respect, and all around attention that we need. These guys gave us all of that and more. First, John Field himself came and provided an estimate. Impressively, he was able to name each tree by type and let us know which should go and which should stay. After a quick search online to vet his licensing, reputation, and quality of work, I was ready to hire...not only do they have a stellar reputation, they are known as "the most professional expert arborists" in and around the Massachusetts the Hudson Valley region (the young man at a local hardware store was full of praise, so were some of his past clients). On the scheduled day, his crew showed up, proactively introduced themselves, and we all took a final walk through the property, at John Field's request, to ensure that we were all in sync on what was to be done. In a very short time, not only had they removed all of the invasive growth, but they had chipped, removed, and disposed of all of the related debris. My wife loved that they brought these rubber pads to ensure that our lawn and landscape were not damaged, and they even took some extra time to smooth out tire gouges left by a previous service provider. Here was the best part: these guys were so concerned about specific trees that they laid out for me how I could reinforce certain branches and provided me with a vast amount of information on how to take care of the other trees that were on our property. It get's even better. John and his son (with whom he works) remained in contact with us just to ensure that the property was developing nicely and to also ensure that, if we had any questions, that they were there to offer advice at no extra fee. He even put me in touch with a horticulturist as I had some questions on how best to utilize this new acre of beautiful land that John Field Tree Service liberated for us! So would I hire them again? I already did! I even referred them to several close friends and business contacts, people with pristine properties (as ours NOW is, thanks to him) who need professional pruning services with no risk of ecological damage. They know their work, they love preserving the environment, and they love making properties even more beautiful then you may have ever thought could be achieved. When they left, it was like someone took a magic wand and transformed our overgrown acreage into an Earth friendly, responsibly groomed paradise. I cannot thank them enough, and I look forward to many upkeep visits by John Field Tree Service for many years to come! Thank you, Gentlemen, we couldn't thank you enough for transforming our little 3 acres into the beautiful, story book worthy environment you have allowed it to become!
