My kind of place. Judi was kind enough to take me last minute on a summer Saturday and listened to what I was looking for in a trim. Clean, bright comfortable salon in a retail strip with good parking. Very nice cut and blow dry for a reasonable price. Made my weekend! Will definitely return.

I found this salon through Yelp and was extremely happy with the service Judy provided. I needed a blowout as I was visiting the region and had to attend a function. The end result was fantastic- I went in with a frizzy mop of hair from the humidity and left with a great straight blowout with beach curl waves that held up through a rainstorm. The price was great too. Highly recommend.

My mother has been a customer at Avant-Garde for years...With this in mind, I brought my almost five year old daughter in for her first hair cut and the entire experience was so calm and relaxing. Judy is so gentle that my normally screaming child, didn’t even make a peep when her hair was being brushed! I HIGHLY recommend Judy for everyone who needs a cut!
