“I've been going to Priscilla, the owner, for 14 years, since I moved to the Needham area. Prior to that time, I always had trouble managing my hair. One side would always "whip" out in the wrong direction. Priscilla gives me such a good cut that styling takes almost no time, with no more misbehaving hair. After wearing a bob of various lengths, I ventured to a shorter, layered cut which I love. Beth has done my hair on a couple of occasions when Priscilla was unavailable, and I've always been pleased. “I have been getting my hair done with Sarah for over 20 years. I met her in high school and have stuck with her throughout the years as I cannot imagine letting someone else touch my hair. I will never forget the day I brought in photos of two video game characters and asked her if she could combine them. We had a good laugh and she executed it perfectly, so much so that it's the same haircut I get today. I went from hair down to my butt to a short asymmetrical bob. If you are looking for new hair stylist, I cannot recommend Sarah enough. You will not be disappointed.“

“Had an amazing experience with Melissa D today. So my dream hair is Debby Harry, blonde on top, brown below. She delivered! And of course I had to pink it up so we did a pink toner. I’ve been a client of Melissa’s for years and have followed here to her new home. Just because she’s new to the salon doesn’t mean she’s new to hair. She’s an old hair soul. Some things I love about being in her chair:
1. The talent and hard work. She’s got both in spades.
2. Her adaptability. This goes from me being so up in the air to what I want to do, to her being like “hey if you just want to be on your phone that’s cool.” No pressure to talk but I do love talking to her. She’s so freaking smart.
3. Not only is the color bomb but the cut is too! Get you a girl who can do both.
4. She rescues animals. Like, all the time.
5. I’m super neurodivergent and she gets it!!
Seriously get thee to Avante and book with her. The salon is gorgeous with great lighting. Really clean and everyone I talked with was super friendly. Parking was a breeze and the center of town is really happening, lots of stuff to do. Go on, take your new hair for a walk. You know you want to!“
