I had a hip replacement by him. NEVER use him. I and a few other women have lived with excruciating pain since. I have not been able to work a full time job since and the pain is still excruciating 20 years later. And I couldn’t get a dime to help pay for ruining my life. Get a good surgeon not him

I saw Dr. Haffenreffer because of arthritic knee pain. We talked about a cortisone injection, which I declined at that time. He gave me some exercises to do which definitely helped. His best advice, for me, was simple and straightforward: “the best thing you can do for arthritis is to keep moving.” He was spot on. I saw him recently due to an increase in pain and got the cortisone shot. Much relief, and I’m still doing my exercises. Nice guy, knowledgeable, made me laugh, and a professional yet personable demeanor.

I was sent to Dr. Haffenreffer after an emergency room visit and he was amazing. He actually listened and treated me with respect. Not at all condescending, like so many other orthopedists. He sent for a consultation with another ortho for my problem just to be sure but in the end he was the one who diagnosed me and figured out my issue. I felt that I trusted him immediately and had confidence in his knowledge and experience. Highly recommend!
