I had a pretty terrible experience with Dr. Tirmizi. I'm young, but have multiple medical issues. I was a new patient of hers, but saw her 3-4 times in about a 3 month span. The first time I saw her, I waited about 20 minutes in the room, she came in and said "you're not 86, I was supposed to be seeing a patient much older than you right now" proceeded to tell me a bit about that patients medical information and then said she had to see that patient, left me in the room and then came back about 20 minutes later. Cancels appointment the day before arriving for appointment due to a insurance assumption of failure to pay. The appointment was made a year before. They could have asked the question before now. Very poor on their part.

Most of the reception staff here (only a few are the exception) are the rudest people you will ever deal with, whether you're calling to make an appt, get a referral or are in-person at the office. For instance, when I called for a referral, one of the ruder ladies known there asked me a question I wasn't sure the answer to so when I responded she actually said to me "that is NOT the question." You're in a customer service role...if you hate dealing with people so much and always have attitude, I'd suggest moving to a different profession. If you are looking for a doctor, I'd advise against looking here.
