If I could give NO stars, that would be more appropriate than one star. I am so unhappy with Massage Envy, in general. After 10+ years of being a member, I am cancelling my membership. Turnover in the management is terrible and they transfer your memberships to other locations that are in another state WITHOUT CONSENT. I found out my membership was transferred to another state, when that location contacted me to provide my credit card so they could charge it for my monthly membership fee. I tried calling that location back to speak to someone and the phone number was NOT IN SERVICE. I called another location, and they couldn't care less about getting in touch with a manager, district manager or anyone else to even try to figure out what was going on. Don't even get me started about the conditions of the heating vents, which are clogged with dust and dirt. I am horrified Massage Envy can remain in business and how Massage Envy hasn't encountered a class action lawsuit is beyond me.

I booked a last minute massage because my shoulders were sore from work and Ian ended up being my massage therapist and I was so impressed! The last few massages I’ve had elsewhere left me feeling the same as when I went in, but after seeing Ian my pain had melted away. He had great pressure, asked the right questions to know which areas to focus on, and was very knowledgeable. He made me feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the whole service. I didn’t have high hopes going to a chain spa, but I will be coming back to see Ian for sure!

Went to get a massage, I drove an hour and a half to make it since everywhere near where I lived was fully booked for weeks in advance. I arrive 10 minutes prior to my appointment time and only when I get to the front desk am I made aware that my massage therapist is out of the office that day. The man at the front told me he didn’t usually work the front desk so he didn’t know how to call me. I asked for a voucher since I drove an hour and a half both there and back now and I was told that they can’t do anything. Terrible and would never recommend.
