I have been seeing Marissa at Salon Nicolo for almost a year. Marissa is an excellent hairdresser, but the besides Marissa's exceptional skills, the salon itself offers a wonderful atmosphere. All members of the staff are very professional and accommodating. Salon Nicolo is a great salon all around, and I highly recommend it.

I appreciated the hospitality and the beautiful balayage color at the salon. However, I can't give 5 stars because my hair ended up more damaged than expected. The teasing process was overly vigorous, making it tough to brush out afterwards. At one point, it was so uncomfortable that I had to close my eyes while the stylist brushed it. I felt that my hair was breaking more than necessary. In the future, I'll speak up so adjustments can be made immediately.

Picking the right salon is one of the hardest things to do because its so personal. After horrible customer service at my former salon - I went to Nicolo Salon both from friends' recommendations and google reviews and right from the beginning ... its extraordinary. The first call is the hardest trying to describe what you want but the person who answered was caring, understanding and scheduled me immediately (already different as I would wait literally months previously). Walking into Nicolo's is just awesome: first from ample parking, to the warmest welcome and orientation, to snacks (what?! ok!!), to then meeting my new stylist.
