The vet and vet tech were so kind and caring of my pup, he was in great hands the whole time. They also provided me with useful information about heartworm and flea/tick medication that I asked for as well. Very good experience, would recommend!“

“We recently switched to Borash and we are so glad we found them. We have a Chi Mix (who doesnt mind the vet visit) and a Pittie Mix (anxious and scared). We have brought them both in for a wellness visit and vaccines and were very happy with the care they provided to our very different dogs. Both Dr. Southgate and Dr. Poirier were thorough, kind and answered all of our questions. Making an appointment is easy through their online booking system and they are quick to answer emails. I would highly suggest checking Borash Vet Clinic out if you are looking for a new office or to make a switch.“

“Such an amazing experience! Setting up an appointment was super breezy, they called exactly when they said they would, and found me a very convenient appointment. Dr. Evans was so knowledgeable and so utterly delightful, she made us first time dog owners feel very comfortable. When he was attacked in the woods years ago Dr Hanson saved his life (fixing what an emergency vet did wrong). she treated seizures and did dental surgery and always cared for him with love. “I didn't put a review at the time my eldest cat was being cared for here, but Boston Animal Hospital took wonderful care of my now passed cat that I had for almost 14 years. She was very temperamental, particular, and hated going to the vet. BAH was great at creating a calmer environment and anticipating our visits by calling and being able to schedule picking up gabapentin for my easily distressed cat. They helped us when she was diagnosed with diabetes and through the progression of the disease. They were so hospitable and caring when she passed away and gave me space to spend with her after her final moments. It is an animal hospital that can accommodate more fickle, distressed cats and I'm glad that we found BAH.“

“Dr. Cusick and the other staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. I agree with other reviews that it is stressful to not be able to be there with your pet when they are being examined, but I am happy that they take the health and safety of their patients seriously. WAH is always friendly when you call with questions and Dr. Cusick is always quick to address any concerns.“

“The doctors and doctors assistants are wonderful here. The doctor was super sweet and she and Gisella never pressured my shy dog Honey to do anything she didn’t want to do! They treated her with such gentleness and kindness, and were so patient. This is the place any dog parent wants to take their animal! Of course, it doesn’t smell the best and it’s not a luxury place by any means, but that’s to be expected from a vet clinic. The prices are very fair, the treatment is transparent and quality, and I was blown away by the level of care from the doctor (wish I could remember her name) and the assistant. I will be a lifelong client!“

“I'm not sure why folks are so upset with Dr. Dulca. I read all of the reviews and I don't see anyone saying that he misdiagnosed a condition on an animal. Dr. Dulca, with over 30 years of experience, runs a small operation. While some may find his demeanor less than warm and fuzzy, his no-nonsense approach has earned him a loyal following. Here's what sets Dr. Dulca apart: Honesty and Expertise: Dr. Dulca doesn't sugarcoat things. He won't upsell you on unnecessary treatments or inflate your worries. Instead, he focuses on solving real problems. If your dog doesn't need a daily gourmet diet of scrambled eggs and broiled chicken, he'll tell you - because fur babies are not human children. Affordability: Despite his extensive experience, Dr. Dulca undercharges for his services. He genuinely cares about the well-being of animals. Pandemic Commitment: When other vet offices closed their doors, Dr. Dulca kept his practice open. No sitting in cars for owners; Dr. Dulca continued to serve his community. In summary, Dr. Dulca may not be your cup of tea in terms of what you would want in a typical jovial, hand-holding vet, but his dedication, honesty, and commitment to animal welfare deserve the utmost respect. My worst day will be when he retires and sells his practice. I have been to the MSCPA in JP (incompetent diagnosis and expensive treatment), Tufts Veterinary Hospital (complete misdiagnosis), the Saugus Animal Hospital (horrible customer service), Blue Pearl (ridiculously expensive overcharging for services), and a couple of others over the years. I keep going back to Dr. Dulca because he knows what he is doing. You may not like his delivery but you can trust that he will tell you the truth. I have nothing but the utmost of professional respect for this doctor.“

“We’ve been going to Porter Square Vet for nearly 15 years. Dr. Parker is the best, most caring vet I have ever dealt with. All our animals have gotten incredible care here.“

“We have been going to East Boston Animal Hospital since we moved to East Boston 10 years ago. We absolutely love the vets, tech and staff there! It is so obvious they deeply care about our dogs- they remember their names (we have brought our 3 dogs there over the years) and always treat them with compassion. When we had to say goodbye to our 1st dog in 2019, they made her as comfortable as possible and were so amazingly kind as we navigated this terrible time. Since then we have been fortunate enough to have EBAH treat our two senior dogs. We have encountered liver, heart and back problems with our senior dogs and they always recommend measured, smaller interventions first before exploring more expensive and extreme options. Thanks to them our dogs have a good quality of life and we are so appreciative that we get to enjoy more time with them as they age. Special shout out to Dr Chopra, Amy, and Carl! We love you!“

“It is quite hectic in the waiting area, but we went outside for a walk when that happened. Just make sure the front desk knows, so that the people came after you dont go before you! They are quick and efficient and everyone is nice.“
