I've been a part of my union for four years now and have participated in one round of contract negotiations. I appreciate what our representatives have helped us to accomplish.
Good Afternoon I have been requesting Local 509 to stop the Union Dues back in May of 2021. I was also told the dues would stop but haven't as of Nurtury's last payment this month. Local 509 also stated the dues would be refunded back to me retroactive back to September 2021. As of today no refund and the deduction are still coming out. It's easy to join but hard too get out.
