“Mestre Coreba's adult's class is great, especially for beginners, and his kids class is awesome. He puts a lot of effort into making sure additional events are accommodating for people with kids as well.“

“A great place to exercise and learn fun new skills! Taekwondo is great for developing balance; stable, controlled spins; core strength; lower body strength; speed; precision; and sparring skills. And Jae H. Kim TKD in Ashland has excellent, patient, and very skilled instructors, who not only can perform all the skills, but who know how to break down those skills and teach others to perform them, with frequent, personalized attention and teaching. In addition, this school does a great job honing perseverance, confidence, and commitment in children, raising up many young people who are unusually mature and surprisingly accomplished for their age! As a practitioner myself, and the mom of a daughter who practices TKD at this school, I highly recommend Jae H. Kim TKD in Ashland.“

Cormier's Self Defense Academy Martial Arts Schools

“I trained with Shihan Cormier for years, during some of the most formative of my life. His impact on me as a person and martial artist cannot be understated. Though I no longer practice Goju Ryu, everywhere I went the skills and lessons I gained from Bu Ke Do Goju Ryu Karate have played a part in both training and life.“

“We love Zanshin! We have been there for a few years now and my son never tires of it. Sensei Glenn is a huge part of why my son loves it there so much. He is patient, kind, with a great sense of humor but stern when he needs to be. Renshi Dave is running a great dojo. The cost per month with the amount of classes that you can take is a great deal compared to other rates we have seen. The dojo is clean and in a great location downtown for running an errand or two or getting a decent cup of coffee while on Main Street. It's a good balance between fun and the seriousness of learning martial arts and self defense. Class usually ends with a game of ball tag which is a great release for the kids. Keep up the good work Renshi!“
