I had taken driving lessons before and knew how to do it mostly, but could never land parallel parking or the test, and 2 lessons in and I managed to pass/fix some stuff. “I sent my 16 yr old here for driving school. They offered 1-week courses during the summer, which covered the 30 hour classroom requirement enforced by the state. I had done my research and this was clearly the most affordable driving school in my area by far and I appreciated that they offered a payment plan. (You can choose to pay in 3 installments.) You can theoretically have your kid attend all the classes, but will not be able to schedule the driving lessons until you've paid in full. They had a parent class that you have to attend (by law) and the lady who ran the class seemed really nice. They spelled everything out pretty well, as far as classroom rules and state requirements. The driving instructors arrived on time for every lesson. The one critique I have is that I'd ask my son how his driving lessons went and almost every instructor had him driving to the same location (Lynn Beach). I wish they had a better lesson plan for the driving portion and maybe would've exposed him to Route 1 and more parking -- which unfortunately still seems to be a weak spot for him. Overall, I was glad with the pricing and the availability of lessons, as we were able to complete the entire driver's education in less than 3 weeks. You can choose to spread out the driving lessons.“

“It’s true that Ed’s rates are higher (90 an hour), but you won’t get similar quality teaching anywhere else. Ed is very attentive and never looks at his phone while teaching you. “I love this place.The best driving school I've had lessons at. Instructors are calm and really want you to learn. They explain things AMAZINGLY. in the 16 years I've been trying to get my license things finally made sense here. From how to adjust your side mirrors, to how far to look ahead, how the roads help you identify how far things are.I've wasted so much time and money at other schools.At my first lesson I needed practice since it had been a while, but I felt more confident because everyone was patient and wise.At other schools I've had instructors yell at me before or yell at other drivers, and overall stress me tf out.I chose Belmont Driving school because even over the phone they didn't stress me out when they answered. They were professional and calm.Need more driving schools like this.“
