Back Bay Veterinary Clinic -- and Dr. Graham in particular -- has been SO wonderful in working with us to figure out the best way to make sure he is calm and comfortable so that he can get the care he needs! I recommend Back Bay Vet to ALL of my friends with pets, but especially anyone with a ~* special *~ dog like Pinto.“

249 Andover St, Danvers“We had gone to bay state animal clinic for almost 11 years. They always gave such great care to our American bulldog and made her feel so special and loved. Over the past 2.5 years she battled Cushings disease and they were so great with helping us navigate that. When we had to finally say goodbye, they were exceptionally tender, kind, and empathetic. I’m so grateful for how they helped make those last moments so peaceful, calm, and full of love.“
8AM - 7PM
587 Tremont St, Boston“I moved to Boston in June 2023 and was referred to South Bay by our dog walker. From the beginning we have found the team and veterinarians to be compassionate, responsive and skilled on their care of our two dogs. Recently our 12 year old retriever mix has had health issues and I’m sad to say that yesterday we had to make the difficult decision to euthanize her. Dr Baker was so incredibly kind and patiently talked us through options, gave us privacy to make the decision, and allowed us to gather the family to be with our beloved dog as she crossed the rainbow bridge. I am grateful to have had this support during this sad time and going forward to care for our other dog.“

363 Tremont St, Boston“We were very happy with Dr. Chelsea. She had obviously spent time reviewing our questionnaire and listened to our concerns attentively. She thoroughly answered all our questions and explained the reasons behind her recommendations clearly. Everyone was great! The woman who checked us in was very accommodating. Slider seemed to have a rude fascination with Rita (I hope I'm remembering her name correctly), yet she was nonplussed and handled it well. As I mentioned, Dr. Chelsea was fabulous. And two other staff members even pitched in at the end to corral Slider when he attempted a jail break. Overall, the vibe was very calm and welcoming.“

330 Main St, Boston“Dr. Olga is simply the best vet I have ever been to. She figures out complex issues that the large hospitals could not and cares.“

Everyone we met was incredible nice and thoughtful with our questions for our dogs. Couldn’t recommend this place enough and if we lived here they would be our go to Vet. Thanks so much“
“Because my puppy, my Mini Pomeranian Scarlett "Lilly Mae" is my absolute world and I will give her nothing less than the best of anything, her Doctor is important to her and I. And I sure did not just find the first office with an opening. I read reviews, I spoke with other pet owners, I researched my candidate records, I studied hard and pondered over this with a fierce energy to make sure I felt good about first the establishment, then their Veterinarian's. And then I made her appointment. Here! Just a "check up", as my favorite Urgent Care in Saugus kept telling me "she needs a doctor, I can't be her primary". And so we went. And that's when I met Doctor Dunn and his assistant. And the girls at the front desk. And Lilly made her appearance. (She owns any place she walks into!). I left feeling great, I felt like he really studied my baby with care. Didn't try to force any particular dog food on me...she's home cooked fed and he wasn't against it! And he spoke to me with respect. And offered web sites for recipes and advice. Fast forward, July 4th Lilly isn't well with fireworks. Well she began shaking her head. Rubbing at her ear. I knew I had to go back. We went back, saw Doctor Dunn again. She actually let him take cultures of her ears. Didn't want to, but did. Doctor Dunn immediately knew there was no infection. Complimented her for her clean ears (found her groomer with the same energy BTW after Petco treated her like an object and Linda's Critter Coral BUTCHERED her Pomeranian Coat almost beyond repair) and told me he thinks she has some irritability from the loud fireworks but no major damage and that time will heal it. Price for the office visit/exam went unmatched he was extremely reasonable!! The guy in my opinion is a true Vet. My understanding is that his dad is also. Very experienced, caring, understanding, and they listen! I would recommend you stop your search here and make an appointment with the lovely front desk staff!“
