“I called Ludlow's about repairing my HVAC; it would not turn on with the switch inside the house. Mr. Ludlow and his son came to my home to assess the problem. They said theTXV needed to be replaced. We made an appointment for the repair. They were on time & fixed it within an hour. I have cool air again!

Mr Ludlow and his son were very respectful and patiently answered my questions.

“I reached out to Alpine Heat Pumps looking to add heat pumps & mini splits throughout our very old home to take advantage of the Mass Save rebate. A technician came over and thoroughly assessed the interior and exterior before letting us know that it wouldn't be feasible to have the heat pumps service our second and third floors. This was due to the exterior structure of the home and electrical limitations. I appreciated the knowledgeable and thorough explanation of why this couldn't be accomplished. They did, however, indicate that they would at least able to provide service to the first floor only and provided a quote for that.“

Bought house with 20+ year old air conditioner which finally died. I contacted 4 companies for quotes. 3 came to house to look at the situation and one asked me to send photos. So now I'm down to 3. One from a big local firm wanted to measure every room in the house even though I told him the size we had did a good job cooling before it died. It was clear he was looking to up-sell so now I'm down to 2.
