Beware of Anthony Gaggiano Electrical. We advertised a 200-amp 240-volt overhead service in 2-in PVC pipe a new weather-head riser supported by two whole clips and expansion joint male adapter onto a 200-amp meter. In addition, all the traces and outlets that are not working in the home are to be repaired and some fixtures to be added. The major part was the upgrade to 200 amp and the PVC weather-hear riser to avoid water leakage. We had a couple of estimates and those major parts (Upgrade to 200amp and the external PVC pipe riser) were around $4000. A friend recommended Anthony stating that he has done some work for him 16 years ago and met him lately. In the beginning, Anthony was a sweet-talker and he said he will do everything for $4500 all-included, any extras will be free of charge. He demanded advanced payment $2250 and remaining half payment at completion. And we obliged. We noticed that he didn't apply work permit request from our town using his electrical license credentials as we agreed upon. And he started lamenting about material shortages for the panel and external riser upgrade and those items are in waiting list. And he will apply for permit once the materials are on hand. (BTW, we heard from other people that was false and materials were available) Sooner, Anthony started fixing things using the existing 100amp panel like adding fixtures, or tracing non-working sockets, light bulbs, outlets etc. without any city permit or the installation of a new 200-amp panel. I left for overseas work for a couple of months. All of a sudden, my wife called me, and she said Anthony is demanding additional $1250 that will make 78% of payment without the main objective of the project addressed - the upgrade to 200-amp and external PVC weather head riser. The moment my wife refused any additional payment - he was no more the sweet-talker and started being aggressive and changed his tone. He insisted and requested that at least he needs $200 (if not the $1250 he demanded) to purchase the materials to resume the work. Sadly, we obliged and gave him an additional $200 making an overall payment of $2450 (54% of the project) without the upgrade to 200amp and the weather head riser. After this Anthony never came back to complete the project, and every effort to reach him by phone failed. We invoked the friend who recommended him and currently Anthony is not picking up the phone for him too! Buyer beware! Please beware of Anthony and request that he provide you with a copy of his electrical license permit and validate it. Also, make sure you don't engage in a similar advance payment scheme.

This guy is an absolute joke. And he doesn't even make the job right when he messes up. Not only that he gets rude with you about it. Don't waste your time. Find an actual professional electrician, that does good work, and will make sure the job is done right.Service: General repairs

Very badly. he left potentially lethal problems when he came here in 2016. 1. My Dryer would quit after about 10 seconds. Assuming was bad, I got a new (another used) one. Then a third dryer. Same 10 sec. quit. Then I put my meter on the 240V plug. IT WAS WIRED WRONG! One 120V side was the full 240V! Lucky for me nothing blew out. It was just a plug, with only four wires to get right, he got two wrong! 2. So I got around to running my generator. The first circuit did not work! Checking out the instructions, I saw that a pair of wires were reversed by him. Same for the next circuit. So did he misinterpret the instructions, or make a two careless mistakes? So I checked the third circuit and it was OK. So he either made two careless mistakes, or tried to wire it wrong but made a mistake on one circuit and got it right.
