Had such a lovely shoot today with Dana!
We went on a short hike in a beautiful location. Not only did he scout the location before the shoot and knew exactly where he wanted to shoot (maximizes the time we had to actually create together) but he was also concerned with my safety and well being during the shoot. Making the spots that I was standing or sitting in comfortable and free from anything that might hurt me. He is great with communication, the how and why he is doing something. It's nice to be able to understand what a photographer is trying to shoot and how, a more collaborative effort which I think ends up yielding better results.
