I hired Bonnie as my doula for a hospital birth, and I'm so glad I did. She balanced out the medical / high-intervention vibes with her grounded, unaffected, badass doula energy and knowledge. My birth was not all as hoped (whose is?!), but Bonnie arrived to the hospital with bags of tools, including a big support pillow that she blew up and helped me use, to find some relief and comfort. Also, she communicated well with the rest of my support team, making sure everyone was replenished and taken care of. She is the real deal!
As the non-birthing partner / new parent, I am extremely grateful for the care and guidance we received from Bonnie. Through the entire process, pregnancy, birth, postpartum, Bonnie was patient, experienced, reassuring, and most of all, supportive. She stayed up all night with us during the labor, supporting both of us, and really helped to make it a wonderful and memorable experience for us! I highly recommend working with Boston Hypnobirth!
Bonnie and Karen are the best supports you could wish for throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I cannot say enough good things about Boston Hypnobirth and this team. If you are on the fence about having a doula or getting a prenatal massage or attending classes - meet with these folks. You will not regret it. We worked with Bonnie and Karen before our birth through classes, meetings and our labor/delivery ended up being very different than what we imagined, yet the strategies I learned with Bonnie and Karen carried me through a day that had a lot of changes.
