“The photo is as close to a before (top) & after (bottom) as I could get. I have been going here for years. Found them during Covid when I couldn’t wax my eyebrows anymore because of terrible acne. I’ve never turned back. They are extremely nice, always do an amazing job and are very quick. Hardest part is parking but it’s worth the minor inconvenience. The place is clean and very simple. Has all the creature comforts and have convenient hours! Highly recommend!!!!“

“Absolutely the best hair cut experience I have ever had! I usually feel pretty awkward at hair salons but she did a great job making me feel comfortable and was a great conversationalist. I really appreciated how detailed she was and that all my preferences (even how much time I liked to s[end doing my hair in the morning) was taken into account. And she brought me a glass of cold water right when I came in which was so nice. I will definitely be returning!“

“My best haircut.

Originally, I wanted to go to Kailan but they didn’t take cash so I went to curl. I was skeptical at having to pay 50 bucks instead of $50 but it’s totally worth it. They gave me like a poncho to wear and wash my hair before and after the haircut and my Barber spoke English. He asked me what I wanted. I gave him a reference photo and he made a few revisions, ending with a nice cut and styling.
All of my friends gave me a compliment for my haircut and many of them said that “my barber did me right, which was the first time I’ve gotten that.
This was my first time going to a fancy Chinese hair salon, and I’ll be going back.

“I have had a few lash lifts and tints at different salons, and Ivy at Emera Lash and Spa does the best job BY FAR! She is so meticulous with her work, so gentle, and the outcome is so much better than what I have gotten anywhere else. I also had a brow tweeze which made me very nervous because I had spent years growing in my over-tweezed brows, but Ivy listened to what I wanted and I know I can trust her to do a great job. I hope Ivy doesn't go anywhere anytime soon, because I don't want anyone else to touch my lashes and brows!“

She helped moving the stroller inside, arranged so that our baby could see me at all times, and made space for changing the baby. I had long straight hair that was noticeably thinner than before pregnancy. I gave Faron free hands to give me a short cut that would make my hair look fuller.
