Rented a Budget truck and vehicle carrier to move from MA to Florida last week. The truck had a 112k miles on it and was making noises at the time of pick up. I'm sure they decided to get rid of the worst truck they have when the saw the drop off location in Florida - let someone else deal with it! Had no choice but pick it up and drive it. On every tiniest hill - the engine was running at 4000 rpm and was slowing down to 40 mph, not exactly safe on a highway, the MPG was about 5 miles per gallon. I new it's not going to make it and of course it died not even a half way there, somewhere in VA. The engine was shot, took them 2.5 days to get a replacement truck.... read full review
