I highly recommend Derek Barnes Construction for home improvement jobs, big or small. Derek returns calls and texts promptly, is courteous, and provides expert advice on how to tackle a project in the most economical manner without sacrificing quality of workmanship. Derek and his helper Tom are true professionals. They arrive to work on time and work tirelessly until the job is done. Derek and Tom are meticulous in cleaning the area after each work day. Thanks to Derek we have a new sturdy back deck and front stairs that meet current safety requirements and looks beautiful. Derek and Tom also cleaned the gutters without charge. He is a gem, and will be utilized for any future repair/improvement project.

Mike Selig and his crew from Selig plumbing have been my plumbers for some time now and they have saved me from major plumbing emergencies on a number of occasions. I cannot recommend them enough. I went through a major flood, I’ve had renovation issues, I had a water filter system almost blow up my house, and I lost water to my house that NO-ONE else could fix and they rushed over on a major summer holiday for a busy beach town today to get me my water back and remove the toxic water filter system and install new piping. Mike never makes you feel like a job is too small or too big, and even a clogged toilet or sink is something he or his crew will make time for. He has made official phone calls for me with many town and other authorities to advocate for me with the filter flood issue and given outstanding and true advice on how to protect my home and avoid a catastrophic event like this again. They’re fast, reliable, talented, hard working, effective, efficient, highly skilled and highly knowledgeable, and friendly, and I recommend them with full confidence. They can be trusted and counted on and will help you in the most stressful scenario and also take you seriously on a minor one. They also remodel and Mike is in real estate! Highly recommend this multi faceted and excellent company!

I accidentally cut a ground wire while landscaping in Hull. I searched online for “electricians, Hull,” and found Cannon Electric. The owner came right over to take a look, despite the rain storm. He will fix the problem tomorrow. I live in the next town over, and don’t have an electrician. I do now!Service: Electrical wiring repair

I’m staying at the Nantasket Beach Resort for a wedding and stopped in Nailworkz for a manicure this afternoon. My nails and cuticles were a mess. Chewed them up flying to Boston on a long flight from LA. Katie the owner was wonderful. She gave me a wonderful gel manicure and was very accommodating when I walked in late after getting stuck in traffic coming from Logan. On top of excellent service and manicure, her associate drove me a half mile down the road to the resort after insisting it was too long to walk with my carry on. run don’t walk to Nailworkz- you won’t be disappointed! They are truly wonderful people with a wonderful nail shop.
Did our kitchen and bathroom remodels and finished on time and on budget. Great relationships with fantastic subs too.
