“We were made aware of a negative post from Maryam Touray and we wanted an opportunity to respond.Maryam came to us with a tax issue in February 2020. During the course of 24 hours, Maryan was completely impatient, consistently complaining and critical about the process. As many people know, the Internal Revenue Service does not move at the speed of light. Due to her actions we withdrawn from this engagement which looks to have caused some animosity from her towards our firm. Moreover, we do not lie or make anyone feel unconformable while working with us and the allegations towards our firm and staff are completely false. We have no ill-well towards Maryam and we wish her well in her future endeavors but we certainly don’t regret withdrawing from this engagement.Regarding Maryam claim surrounding the Better Business Bureau, we believe it’s our great clientele that gives us all the accreditation that we need, not an organization that paying dues are required.We would like to thank our fantastic clientele for another successful tax season and we look forward working with you again next tax season!“

Rather than just throw away the letter, James Patterson wrote back to my daughter informing her that she had sent her letter to the wrong James Patterson and returning the letter to her. It was a thoughtful response and very much appreciated.“
