I am puzzled by the low rating. My lawn guy recommended them for loam. They were, at $29 a cubic yard, the cheapest around. They delivered the very next day and land it wherever I asked. I was going to be charged $110 delivery fee by a place in Rockland and over $200 more than GO GREEN (I worked with Scituate) from a place in Cohasset. Kudos to Go Green. Delivery guys was REALLY nice, helpful and friendly. The gal on the phone speaks too quickly and is pretty abrupt.....wasn't as crazy about dealing with her, but they got the job done and at the lowest price around. I paid $616 for 20 cubic yards incl. tax and delivery.

Got compost delivered from Go Green. Excellent service. I called today and they were able to deliver today. It is the first day of Spring so they said they do get busier in April and May. The quality of the compost seems exquisite. The delivery person gave some good insight on what the compost is made of. He said their compost is made up of old mulch, leaves, woodchips and grass. This particular batch is probably about a year and half old, which as far as my compost knowledge goes is ideal. They turn it at least 6 times during that time. Everything is broken down well and it smells sweet, like the forest floor. This will be perfect for my vegetable garden and flower beds.... read full review
