I am writing a review-after reading some others'. I felt compelled to. I have been practicing Bikram for 5 years, mostly in NYC where we have top notch instructors. Do not waste your time with this studio.I once drive in a heavy snowstorm to her Cohasset location, determined to do my practice and stay positive. When I got there, I was given an audio tape to follow after I paid. There were 2 other students in the room. She had her husband, who was not certified (and at the time I was a full time fitness instructor with over 20 different fitness certifications including yoga and pilates). It was a joke. After that, I went to the Hanover studio. That is where the scolding and negativity is in full heat (pardon the pun but we need a smile here). I will never return and I think that the owner of this studio gives a terrible experience of Bikram. If you went there and had a bad experience, please do not give up on your experience- Bikram can change your life in many positive ways.As for me, I stumbled upon this review while looking for a Bikram studio near Plymouth and just found Hot Yoga 1620 which has Bikram - I am setting my intention to write a review afterward:)

Don’t show up late or Katrina will discipline you in front of her class ? Was having some trouble finding the studio as it is inside a larger building, came in a few minutes behind starting time ready to go and was met with “Wow you’re late. (by 5 min? lights were not on) I don’t have time for this,” turned to the class and asked if they should let us join to which I declined because that’s extremely awkward and if I were in the class I don’t know how I’d feel about deciding whether or not someone can join the class. Although, she did have time to escort me out of the class and explain why she said this. She was much friendlier once outside of the class,...read full review

Don't show up late or Katrina will discipline you in front of her class LOL. Was having some trouble finding the studio as it is inside a larger building, came in a few minutes behind starting time ready to go and was met with "Wow you're late. (by 5 min? lights were not on) I don't have time for this," then turns to the class and asks if they should let us join to which I declined because that's an extremely awkward position to be put in as a student in class.. Although, she did have time to escort us out of the class and explain herself (somewhat). She was friendlier once outside of the room, pretty different than how she was acting in front of her students. I was excited to try since she seems experienced, but was not staying or coming back after that. Slightly disappointed but don't love the way she talks to people and should have looked at the reviews prior to going. It would have been pretty easy to quietly bring us out of the class and tell us to come earlier next time but instead she felt the need to nearly yell at us in front of her class. I can respect having worth for your time but I do not respect trying to confront or scold someone who you don't know in front of a group of people. On the way out she said we don't know what we're doing and to have fun at our other yoga studio. I have and will continue to do so!
