The Galvin team took on the job of refinishing our 20-year old floors at our Andover house with 20 years of family wear and tear: 3 coats - and a lot of TLC - we did not recognize they were the same rooms. I would recommend them without hesitation for a residential job.

We needed to have some old carpet replaced with hardwood floors to match up with pre-existing hardwood flooring in adjacent rooms. We were referred to David Galvin by a nearby carpeting store. After an initial phone conversation we arranged to meet at my house. He was 10 minutes early but waited in his truck for me to show up. After a brief analysis of the situation he said he would call in two days with an estimate. He called in two days with an estimate. The price was right, so we agreed to do business. We arranged a schedule. He told us when he would come, how long it would take and he would leave no mess. Everything he said was right on. As a long time homeowner with experience with many tradesmen, I have never met one better than David Galvin. He will be refinishing our old floors whenever we get enough ambition to clean out the rooms.
