This is a nice building to host a public event. Some of the town committees and organizations use the building for their meetings on occasion and there is a second floor and bathrooms. While most is accessible some parts of the building are not.The post is named after Lawrence Gay who died of his wounds after heroically leading soldiers during World War 1.There is an accessible parking spot and a US Postal mail box on the road in front of the site with an 11:30 am pick up Monday - Friday and 10:00 an Saturday. This is a good place to park if taking a walk through the Old Burial Ground and other nearby down town locations.
