We hired them for our glasses and a tent. Although they were thorough and nice, they claimed we didn’t GIVE BACK 1 full crate of glasses, that were all of the exact same glass…which wasn’t the case. We checked thee entire venue for the glasses and asked the catering and they were nowhere to be found and not a single glass broke at our wedding…so it left us wondering: did Mahwnie not deliver one of those crates? Bc why else would the EXACT same glass go missing along with the EXACT # of glasses in the crate. We paid for those glasses and are bummed we had to deal with this during our wedding high.
The entire experience was the most perfect introduction to yoga I could have asked for. It's a very non-judgmental space, and is perfect for anyone getting into it. A great way to get more in tune with your own body. My overall wellness and mental health have all noticeably improved, not least of all my flexibility. I can now pretty much do a handstand after only a few months which I did not expect.
I saw Clario's sign on a neighbor's lawn and decided to give him a call, since other floor refinishers hadn't wanted to take on the beautiful, historic, but difficult-to-work-with floors in my house. He gave a prompt estimate that seemed more than fair for the work, and within a week he and his team had begun a challenging job. The results are even better than I hoped for! Furthermore, the crew was careful about minimizing dust and mess, so that even though they did almost half of the square footage in the house, cleanup was extremely easy. I have already booked them to work on my front porch.

I booked the 3 friends special which included a 30 min facial, 30 min massage, and 30 min salt cave. We were also served delicious cheese and crackers, sandwiches, and drinks. The studio is cozy and clean. Colleen is so warm and friendly and really went out of her way to make me and my friends comfortable. We had a fantastic time and would definitely do it again when in the area next! Highly recommend.

Kate Lascar (of Berkshire Property Agents) is a stellar real estate agent. From the moment she took us on as clients, she was proactive in helping us find our perfect vacation home. She started off by asking us a few simple questions and quickly followed up with a weekend itinerary of showings that exactly fit our needs and preferences (including many listings we didn’t previously find on Zillow). It was a high-yield, organized, and efficient way to see several different properties throughout the Berkshires. At each property, Kate was helpful in pointing out both positives and negatives, and didn’t apply any pressure to submit an offer, despite the fact that it took a large chunk of her time to show us so many properties on Memorial Day Weekend. After our short time together, we found the property we wanted, submitted an offer, negotiated a great final price, and closed in ~6 weeks (again, thanks to her efficiency). In addition, Kate has a knack for design and we’ll be enlisting her services to help us fill the house before we use it. In summary, Kate is knowledgeable, efficient, and extremely approachable. I had a very positive experience with Steven MacLeay and Sacred Oak Homes when they did a renovation of my home that included a large deck addition, screened porch, and renovation of an interior room that included plumbing and complete gutting and replacing walls, ceiling, and floor. The Construction Supervisor Michael Brex was extremely professional, talented, responsive to questions, and meticulous in the work. The estimator and Project Manager Don Voudren were also excellent to work with. It took awhile for me to settle on a design and Sacred Oak stuck with me through the design and estimating process to get to a project that was within my budget. The estimating and billing are transparent and I could clearly see the exact cost of materials and labor. I had a problem with the interior painting and when I complained, Don and Michael were very responsive and the problem was fixed in a timely and professional manner which I really appreciated. Their work is very high quality and I recommend Sacred Oak Homes to prospective clients without any reservation.

I met David when he worked in Kosovo in 2000. We worked together for a short time but remained friends since. I knew that David has extraordinary people and healing skills, but was not aware that his skills can cross oceans, through online sessions, and, together with Heidi, help me get my normal life back. Living for more than 17 years with migraine almost every day, is living with one of the most disabling conditions in the world. It prevented me to live a normal life, enjoy the little things such as a company and/or a drink with my family and friends, have a normal sleep without being afraid to go to bed knowing that the pain could wake me up in the early morning hours and not being able to open my eyes from pain. If it was windy or rained on the day of one of my child’s birthday, I wouldn’t be able to celebrate. I have missed so many of my life’s and family’s milestones due to migraine. David and Heidi, whose first and highest priority is helping people, have approached and offered to help me. I was a bit skeptical about the online session, but I accepted, because I trust David and it was a possibility worth taking. And they have succeeded! With an online energy healing session, they have not only eliminated my migraine and headaches, but for the first time in more than 17 years, I am waking up happy and able to live my days to the fullest! I've renovated a number of bathrooms over the years and have been very happy with the customer service at Waterware (Plimpton and Hills). It's a very nice showroom. Clean, bright, large, and easy to check out the merchandise. The past two times I purchased items through Cori, who was terrific. Genuinely interested in helping me. And provided some excellent design advice. I wanted my items asap, and she followed up to ensure they were in and called me. Very pleased. The customer service at the counter where you pay is also excellent. Prices are competitive. No need to shop on-line or anyplace else.

I've heard great things and it did not disappoint! The whole appt was about 30 mins including explanation time from their knowledgeable staff. The experience in the cabin was so relaxing - I wish I had a place like this back home because I would go all the time! Such a treat!
We searched for many years for a good Berkshire vet for our German shepherds and finally found the best of the best in Bilmar. Dr. Newman and her team always provide excellent care for our dogs for everything ranging from allergies to serious surgeries. The vets have great bedside manners, the techs are experts in their field, and the front staff is kind and always accommodating and always follows through - when they tell you they will do something, it gets done. One of the things I like most is that Dr. Newman is committed to continuing education and brings the cutting edge of veterinary science to the clinic. You will not be disappointed.

Alexis has been engaging and professional since the day we met him. Being new to the area, we took a chance on the Realtor company, and were assigned to Alexis.We were relocating from a different region, so any meetings and/or showings required advance planning. Throughout all, Alexis was patient with the situation. He came to understand what our preferences and needs were, as well as respecting our budget. It was not always easy, as there were a limited number of properties on the market that met our needs, and also our wants, such as finding an older house with some history. But Alexis jumped right in and quickly found what we were looking for.Once we decided to make an offer on a property, Alexis was right there, coaching us and making helpful suggestions. He related extremely well to the seller’s agent, and they both made it easier for us to move forward. He made sure that we did everything we needed to do, -on time– and also was able to offer valuable information on contacts and helpful people (plumbers, etc.) in the area.Finally, Alexis has been willing to stop in and check on our new property, as we prepare for the move in at a distance. Alexis has been so very good to work with, that we now look forward to introducing our families to each other!
I work for a facility that brings clients on outings. We go there every 2 weeks, I call ahead to book appointment. When arriving they are inviting and ready to assist. Kind people quality work!
Cleanliness: Very clean environment
I called on Monday to schedule installing a new toilet we had discussed with Paul a few months ago. Coreen scheduled Paul to come on Tuesday to take measurements. He said Coreen would call with a quote. She called Wednesday and left a message that she had a quote which she also emailed to me. She called back a couple hours later to make sure I got the message, I did not, (the coffee had not yet kicked in). I discussed the quote with my husband and called back with ok to order toilet. Coreen said she would call when the toilet came in and would schedule Paul to come and install it. I figured at least a week (I'd have plenty of time to give the bathroom a good cleaning). About an hour later Coreen called back and said they had the toilet we wanted and Paul finished a job sooner than anticipated and could be at our house in about 15 minutes! (I guess the bathroom gets cleaned later) Needless to say, I was thrilled. 1 hour later we had a new toilet that actually flushes, and Paul was on his way to his next appointment. Very pleased with the whole experience. We have used Gennari several times and have always been pleased with the results. The whole crew is very friendly and very professional. Too bad 5 stars is the highest rating I can give!
Thom Garvey was an excellent realtor for us. He worked very hard and looked out for our interests while we were in the process of buying our home. Thom has high energy, corresponded with us frequently and answered all our question promptly. He is very enthusiastic guy and we would use him again as he is very knowledgeable of the real estate market in Berkshire county.
I had an extremely relaxing facial with Dana. The spa uses Dr. Hauschka products - clean products that smell great. I also added on an eyebrow wax that was very gentle and nicely done. The spa is in a converted home and it's very cozy and warm. Note there is a large dog roaming about. My only suggestion is to offer a sun screen product for after the facials. After cleaning and treating the skin it's not good to go out directly in the sun, I understand Dr. Hauschka doesn't have a sunscreen, but there a million other spa grade products. Overall I recommend Body and Soul.
Just like the old days. Old school shop is what's on deck. Anybody that needs hair cut , shave ( even straight edge. This is your place, everyone is friendly, place is clean. Nice waiting area, Duane is good at what he does. He aims to please & makes you feel at home. He does things the way they should be done!

Only place I’ll go to anymore in Great barrington. This is the second salon I’ve tried in GB and I had the best experience. I don’t much about hair so I didn’t know exactly how to explain what I wanted, but Steph was able to take my ill-wording and make my dream come true. I’ve been trying to go blonde now for two years and this is the first time I’ve ever walked out of a salon having the EXACT hair I wanted. Total dream experience.
