My daughter got married last Saturday. Many family members drove to Massachusetts early to help with preparations and enjoy time together. She, her aunt, grandmother, 4 cousins, her cousin’s girlfriend, as well as me all wanted a nail service prior to the wedding. Vivian was very accommodating and fit us all in, despite it being prom and wedding season. The shop is well lit and modern looking. The nail salon personnel were friendly and did a great job. We brought snacks and champagne to celebrate together in the salon. I would recommend Nailgic.

I called to make an appointment and was surprised I could get one day of. I expected a great amount of toxic nail fumes in the air upon arrival but surprisingly it was controlled and I could breathe for once . I was asked to hand sanitize before I could begin my services and check in for a regular gel manicure and pedicure. The lightbulbs and decor was very simple, clean and bright. The pedicure chairs were cute and minimal with a little pillow. Not your average massage chair but I usually do not like them on anyways because they just never really hit the right spots and they always end up making me more sore if anything. The manicure stations/booths were able to be adjusted further out or in for those with short or long arms and with a couple of more pillows for comfort. The polishing was glossy and fully coated nicely. The pressure of the massage was not too hard and I appreciate the cuticle pushing and trimming. My hands and feet felt refreshed. I was asked probably 4 times if I am satisfied with my service since I'm not much of a talker myself when I'm trying to relax before I go home to my zoo. The pricing is not too bad for the service I received. Probably average 2-3 dollar less than most salons I've been to for some of the services they offer (More or less). But hey, you do pay for what you get. The time that I came was in the late afternoon so it was pretty busy with almost every station occupied. This review is just based on my first impression. But I want to come back another time and try their other services. Pedicure: 8/10 Manicure: 9/10 Color variations: 9/10 Cleanliness: 8/10 Price: 8/10

This is the ONLY place on the north shore that takes off gel and dip the correct way without ruining your nail bed. I'm always very happy with my manicures when I go here. The girls are meticulous and take their time. I don't understand why the reviews are so bad. OH AND THEY ACTUALLY LAST.
