“I will preface this review by stating that I am a finicky acupuncture patient, and have seen more acupuncturists over the past few years than most people will see in their lifetime. “I went to see Bonnie due to some back and hip pain and esophagus issues. What a lovely human who has a gentle way about her, is extremely knowledgeable and truly wants to help heal. “I've worked with her throughout the years for various health issues (seasonal allergies, pms issues) with positive results but I was truly stunned after I saw her immediately following major dental work! If you have any dental appointments, you must see Caitlin! My dentist warned me that I would be in a great deal of pain for the next few days and actually apologized in advance. He handed me two huge ibuprofen pills and urged me to take them as soon as I could eat something. A few hours later, I felt the Novocain begin to wear off and my face started to throb. In a stroke of luck, I was able to see Caitlin shortly thereafter (usually, her appointments are booked in advance so last minute openings are rare). Within a matter of minutes, the insertion sites Caitlin selected began to work. At first, the throbbing subsided and then within 4 minutes, I felt like I hadn't had any dental work done at all! It was incredible. Just to test it, I chomped my teeth together and there wasn't any pain or even soreness. If I hadn't experienced it myself, I wouldn't have believed it. Not only did my discomfort go away during the session but afterwards, I had absolutely no swelling or pain the subsequent days. I was eating comfortably that evening! The only area that was tender was the spot the dentist used for the Novocain injection. I thought I'd have to come in for a follow up acupuncture session to deal with swelling but I didn't. What I really like about Caitlin is that she combines her professional knowledge, keen analytical skills and passion for improving the lives of her clients. I've always been a big proponent of acupuncture but the post-dental sessions with Caitlin have really amazed me. Everybody is different so you're response to the same work may not match mine but I can wholeheartedly encourage you to try it!“
