“Very impressive set up. Their office is modern and spacious. The check-in staff are courteous. The technician who started the exam, was friendly and reassuring. Their testing equipment is impressive and state of the art. They tell you at each stage of the eye exam what they are doing and why, and answer questions in an easy to understand way. The doctor was genuinely interested in me and enquired about my overall health. At the end of the exam he linked all the data they have gathered and discussed what steps I might need to take in order to maintain and improve my vision, in a relaxed and friendly way.“

I called as a new patient and they got us in next day! Staff were very friendly and professional and the facility had a nice feel. Not commercialized. They quickly saw my daughter and the exam was thorough. Afterwards I decided to schedule her yearly eye exam and they had very good availability! The last practice we used not only had no openings, they wouldn’t see her. Booked up until 2025 is what they said… I look forward to going back to Village Eye care to get my daughter some cool new glasses. The selection looked great!“

“Staff was very friendly and eager to help. They explained everything clearly and made sure all my questions were answered. The only downfall was when I was brought out to look for new glasses. The employee was looking for quick sales and not willing to assist someone who required more time and attention due to a high prescription and petite stature. I’ve worn glasses my entire life and have never been treated the way I was in Holyoke. Would I go back to see the doctors there? Yes. Would I ever buy glasses there? Never.“

“Dr. Maciaszek was able to diagnose the issues I've had with my eyes for many years when other eye doctors have not been able to. I have spent many hundreds of dollars with I exams in different places getting glasses that never really did the trick. Dr. Maciaszek diagnosed my eyes as both having no color in the vitreous humor as well as one requiring prisms to stop my double vision. He spent a very long time with me in the office to make sure things were correct and for the first time I was able to see accurately without headaches and double vision. His "bedside manner" is top notch. He was patient and deliberate and extremely thorough. If you've been having problems with your eyes that have not been properly diagnosed, this is the guy to go to. His exams were gentle and to the point and so long as he is in practice, he will be the only guy doctor that I will visit.“

She also explains what she's learned and how that may affect you. I feel that she provided the best solution possible for my vision issues.“

My 10 yo frequently ends up with things in his eye or scratches on his eye, they always get him in quickly so he doesn’t have to suffer. Yesterday we saw Dr Casey, and she was just phenomenal with him. As a therapist, I so often find myself working with young adults who have anxiety around communicating their needs with doctors, and if doctors when we were kids spoke to kids and explained everything to them the way Dr. Casey did yesterday, I think we would see a whole lot less young adults with this sort of anxiety. She explained everything that she was going to do, asked him for the detailed history of what was going on with his eye, and gave him the treatment options to choose from. To see that level of care and pediatric competence from a family practice is just unheard of. Dr. Casey, I hope you know you’re helping with more than just vision with the way you practice! Thank you!“
