“I am writing a review for the Yummy Healthy Food Nutritional Counseling part of Bonnie’s services at Staying in Balance Acupuncture. I did the six week nutritional counseling program and felt Bonnie was very effective in helping me understand foods I was sensitive to, how I feel when I am taking the time to prepare and eat more whole foods, and how I feel when my body experiences less inflammation (Great, truly).

Bonnie’s coaching gave me the structure and gentle accountability I needed to reset my eating habits, and she was also very encouraging and made what can feel like a difficult or depriving process much more tolerable and actually fun, at times! I’ve tried resets/cleanses before and without the accountability and her expertise, I was not as successful.

Bonnie’s approach is also reasonable and again not focused on deprivation. My goal was to eat more vegetables and whole foods and lower inflammation. She also sent summaries of our meetings by email with my action steps for the next week, which was also very helpful.

Lastly, I even lost some weight, which was a bonus. I highly recommend working with Bonnie and appreciate her holistic approach, expertise, and kindness; I wish more Western medicine operated similarly!“
