As a comprehensive company, Alvin Hollis can do so many things - from replacing all disintegrating cast Iron plumbing waste lines with PVC, to service and installation of virtually every type of HVAC equipment. Their service plan has kept my 28 year old furnace (Alvin Hollis initially installed) running smoothly, and when I inquired about replacement, service engineer - John Gargiulo actually advised that given its condition and outstanding record of service, there is no need for replacement at the time. The point being - Alvin Hollis, specifically Mr. Gargiulo doesn't push the upsell; only an objective evaluation of the situation. Infact, there is never any pressure - even when I recently converted from an oil-fired hotwater heater to an electric. All of my questions were answered by Mr Gargiulo - patiently and professionally over a 2 week period prior to signing the contract. I very much appreciated all of his work on the project!! Also, the "Budget Plan" has really been a godsend in paying for services. The entire staff (especially Pat, when i call with questions, or asking for information) has always been courteous, professional, and knowledgable!! Finally, having been a care-giver for 8 years for my mom (with a debilitating health condition) I could not afford to be with out heat or hot water. The emergency service response time by Alvin Hollis, on the coldest, stormiest days and nights were amazing!!

We were having a problem with hot water circulation and they came out the next day and figured out that the mixing valve for the tub was not working and the cause behind the hot water not making its way to the other faucets in the house. “Here's a revised version of your Google review: Our grinder pump stopped working just a few days after our first child was born, adding to the craziness of being new parents. I reached out to F.R. Mahony over Labor Day weekend and was connected with a technician who assured me he could come out the next day. He advised us to get our holding tank pumped first. Once that was done, I called back, and Lucas arrived promptly to diagnose the issue. He was quick to respond, incredibly knowledgeable, and extremely friendly. After examining the pump, Lucas explained that both switches had corroded, causing the pump to fail. He had the problem fixed within an hour. My wife and I were extremely satisfied and relieved to be able to shower, wash dishes, and use our toilets again. I highly recommend F.R. Mahony & Associates for any grinder/ejector pump issues!“
