I moved back to Dorchester in 2023 and was searching for a barber who could flatteringly frame the face of a woman with a low cut. In full transparency, I was looking for a Black barber who knows my type of hair. I walked into Namel's after trying several Dominican barbers who left me with bumps after each cut and unflattering hard-lined cuts that made me feel masculine. I shared my concerns with Nick, was reassured and got my cut and loved it! :) I've been coming here for the past 6 months and have not been disappointed. Nick's skills, cleanliness, longevity in the industry, availability (he works 7 days a week!) and consistency is why I encourage you to stop in and give him a shot! You won't regret it. He has over 25 years of experience and though he specializes in women's cuts, however he is not at all limited to just that. I've seen him cut children's hair, men's hair and beards and is very personable and friendly. I will keep coming back!

Wow just wow amazing barber skills when you go there ask for nick best barber skills. My friend told me about this place I took a chance and wow was it worth it I been with my original barber for about 4 years and made the switch and was the best decision this man knows how to work with the clippers. My experience with Namels has been second to none!. I am very particular about how my hair looks and Derrick at Namels knocked it out of the park. Far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend anyone looking for a top notch cut to make their way to Namels barbershop!.
