“I moved to Boston in June 2023 and was referred to South Bay by our dog walker. From the beginning we have found the team and veterinarians to be compassionate, responsive and skilled on their care of our two dogs. Recently our 12 year old retriever mix has had health issues and I’m sad to say that yesterday we had to make the difficult decision to euthanize her. Dr Baker was so incredibly kind and patiently talked us through options, gave us privacy to make the decision, and allowed us to gather the family to be with our beloved dog as she crossed the rainbow bridge. I am grateful to have had this support during this sad time and going forward to care for our other dog.“

“We held our boys birthday party here (aged 10 and 3) in April and had the best day! We got to explore the whole center seeing turtles, baby racoons and birds. The party space was plenty of room for a big group like we had. The staff planning the party and day of were fantastic. Rental cost was the most reasonable of anywhere I could find that would entertain all ages! 10/10 recommend.“

“I didn't put a review at the time my eldest cat was being cared for here, but Boston Animal Hospital took wonderful care of my now passed cat that I had for almost 14 years. She was very temperamental, particular, and hated going to the vet. BAH was great at creating a calmer environment and anticipating our visits by calling and being able to schedule picking up gabapentin for my easily distressed cat. They helped us when she was diagnosed with diabetes and through the progression of the disease. They were so hospitable and caring when she passed away and gave me space to spend with her after her final moments. It is an animal hospital that can accommodate more fickle, distressed cats and I'm glad that we found BAH.“
