Peaches Cultural Hair is a studio dedicated to supporting individuals in their journey of self-expression through natural hair care and personal styling. Founded by a hairstylist who trained under her mother, the Queen of the Locs, this studio has been cultivating a community of natural hair enthusiasts since 1996. Upon entering the studio, clients are greeted by the warm and welcoming atmosphere, complete with strategically placed mirrors and TVs. The team, led by stylist Peaches, is dedicated to providing exceptional service and personalized attention to each client. Reviews praise the studio's attention to detail, with clients raving about stylist Jeselle's amazing hair washing skills and ability to accommodate individual needs. The studio offers a range of services, including shampoo and conditioning, loc maintenance, and braiding. While some clients have experienced wait times, the studio's commitment to providing world-class service and exceptional results makes it a popular destination for those seeking high-quality natural hair care. With a focus on community and self-expression, Peaches Cultural Hair is a welcoming space for individuals of all ages and hair types. In terms of logistics, the studio is accessible and has an ADA ramp, but clients should be aware that there may be a step down to the area where hair drying takes place. Additionally, the studio could benefit from some minor updates, such as a good sweep and mop, and updating their website pictures to better reflect their exceptional work. Overall, Peaches Cultural Hair is a studio that prioritizes customer satisfaction, community building, and exceptional service, making it a top choice for those seeking a personalized and empowering hair care experience.

From Peaches Cultural Hair (formerly Muriels Natural)

At Peaches Cultural Studio, our goal is to support you in your journey of self-expression in the way we know best, cultivating your natural hair and personal care. We believe your hair should be an extension of yourself, and that our job as your stylist is to make that self-expression as easy for you as possible. My training as a hairstylist began with my mother, the Queen of the Locs, Muriel Taylor-Kennedy. She created the 1st West Indies & Black Owned Natural Hair Salon in Boston in 1996, Muriels Natural Hair Studio. I developed and grew my skills under her leadership until 2010 when I purchased this salon from her, where I have continued to cultivate both my brand and my community.
